Kennesaw police investigators are searching for a man accused of trying to rob a pharmacy at knife point.

Police said the man entered CVS Pharmacy at 2782 Cobb Parkway North around 11:17 p.m. Sunday, April 7, brandished a knife and demanded an employee give him prescription drugs.

The employee refused the request, and the male suspect ran away from the drug store. He was last seen on foot traveling north, according to the Kennesaw Police Department's Facebook page.

Kennesaw police on Friday shared information about the incident and a store surveillance photo of the accused robber to see if social media users can help identify the perpetrator.

The suspect appear to be between 5’7’’ and 5’10’’ tall, has a medium build and is possibly in his 30s or 40s, police note.

Kennesaw police say he also appears to have a thin mustache and was wearing prescription-style eyeglasses at the time of the alleged robbery.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Kennesaw Police Department at 770-422-2505 or Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS.
