Paulding County authorities are looking for a man who exposed himself to a 12-year-old girl Wednesday morning while offering her a ride to school.

The incident happened outside a home in the Courthouse Park subdivision, off Courthouse Road in Temple.

The suspect, who's in his 40s or 50s, was interrupted when a parent of the girl went outside to see who she was talking to. The suspect quickly left, driving off in a small, green four-door car.

The Sheriff's Office describes the suspect as a white man with a gray goatee, tan complexion and medium build. He was wearing a toboggan hat.

The Crimes Against Children unit is interviewing witnesses as well as registered sex offenders in the area.

Anyone with information on the suspect should call the Sheriff's Office at 770-443-3010.
