Someone fired gunshots from a black pickup truck and struck the driver of another car on the interstate Monday afternoon, police said.

The victim, who was shot in the hand, may have been a victim of road rage, Mekka Parish, DeKalb County police spokeswoman, told the AJC.

The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. as the victim was driving on I-285 southbound near I-20, Parish said. Shots were fired from the truck near the ramp to I-20 westbound and then the truck continued.
