Man shot outside south DeKalb apartment

Police were on the scene of a shooting Tuesday morning at an apartment complex in south DeKalb County.

DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said a man was in critical condition after being shot multiple times just before 9 a.m. on Tregoney Drive off Whites Mill Road.

Witnesses told police that the victim and suspect "were standing outside an apartment arguing, then engaged in a struggle," Parish said. "At some point during the struggle, the victim was shot."
