An 18-year-old man was shot three or four times Thursday near a MARTA bus stop outside of South DeKalb Mall, police said

The shooting took place at 2:45 p.m. when the man was walking along Candler Road near a metro PCS store, DeKalb police spokesman Jason Gagnon said. There were several witnesses on the scene, who told police three black males driving by in a black Chevy Impala shot the 18-year old.

The man was transported to Grady Hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries, Gagnon said. He undergoing surgery and police will question him once he is out.

There are no suspects at this time.
