Man shot in head by Fulton police doesn’t hold grudge

ExploreA 21-year-old who nearly died from a police bullet to his head in 2011 says he doesn’t hold a grudge against the Fulton County police officer who accidentally shot him.

“It could have been way worse,” DeAnthony Cunningham told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Monday. “I could have died right there on impact.”

Fulton County settled a federal lawsuit filed on Cunningham's behalf for $2 million last week. After attorneys fees and hospital bills, the remaining funds will be held in trust to pay for Cunningham's future medical care and living expenses.
