A man shot in Dunwoody on Sunday afternoon is in serious but stable condition at Gwinnett Medical Center, police said.

The emergency call came at 1:30 p.m. to the gated Terraces of Dunwoody on Dunwoody Park Drive, authorities said. It was called in as a home invasion, but police don’t yet have evidence to determine if that was the case or not, Sgt. William Furman said.

Officers found the wounded man inside his fourth-floor apartment with the person who called 911, Furman said. The man was able to speak to authorities when he was transported to the hospital.

Detectives remained on the scene investigating late Sunday afternoon.

They were looking at video of vehicles entering and exiting the complex in an effort to find clues in the case, Furman said.

Anyone with information on the case should call the Dunwoody Police Department at 678-382-6900.
