Man shot and killed in southwest Atlanta

Atlanta police Tuesday were investigating an overnight shooting that left a man dead.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot twice around midnight Monday in the area of Astor Avenue in southwest Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News.

The man later collapsed along nearby Sylvan Road.

Investigators have not revealed a motive for the shooting.
