DeKalb County police are investigating a shooting in a neighborhood off Memorial Drive early Saturday that left a man dead.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the shooting happened during an argument outside a home on Woodfern Drive.
According to Channel 2, the shooting happened after the homeowner tried to break up an argument between a friend and a man he didn't know.
The stranger pulled a gun, and shot and killed the homeowner's friend, according to Channel 2.
"The homeowner was intoxicated at the time, so he was providing very limited information," DeKalb police Sgt. C.D. Swain told the station.
