Police are investigating reports of a man who walked into a bank Thursday afternoon, demanded money, but left with nothing.

Around 3:20 p.m., the Atlanta Police Department received a call reporting a robbery at a Wells Fargo bank in the 200 block of Peachtree Street. Information revealed that a suspect handed a teller a note demanding money and indicating that he had a gun, but he left with no money.

There were no injuries and no weapon was seen.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8, and 140 to 150 pounds. He was wearing light-colored pants, a white shirt with horizontal brown and yellow stripes, a black sun visor and sunglasses pushed up on his head, authorities said.
