Nearly a year to the day after a man allegedly choked his girlfriend and shot at strangers, he was arrested after being spotted at Waffle House.
Mose Walker, who had been on Atlanta's "most wanted" list for months, is accused of choking his girlfriend during a physical altercation at an apartment complex, according to a Sept. 12, 2017, incident report. He allegedly pointed a gun and threatened to kill her.
Police were on the way to the complex regarding that call when a man called them about a shooting there. Three maintenance employees told police they were loading the complex’s garbage disposal when they saw a man — who police say was Walker — coming toward them with blood on his nose.
He began to walk “aggressively” toward them and asked two questions — “What the (expletive) are you looking at?” and “Do you speak English?” — before firing a shot at them, the report says. The men were Hispanic.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Police received information on Monday that a wanted person was at the Waffle House near Georgia State University on Piedmont Avenue. Officers observed Walker in the restaurant, and he was arrested without incident, police said.
The 28-year-old was booked on charges including aggravated assault, and remains in Fulton County Jail.
