Authorities are searching for a man who shot and killed another man after an altercation at a swimming pool at a DeKalb County apartment complex, police said.
The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. at The Jasmine at Winters Chapel Apartments on Winters Chapel Road. Authorities have not released the name of the victim or suspect.
The two men were involved in a dispute at the pool, according to DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish.
The men left the pool separately but later encountered each other at a building on the property, Parish said. The suspect fired a gun multiple times, striking the victim, and fled.
Emergency personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries, Parish said.
