A man was hit multiple times in a drive-by shooting Friday night, Gwinnett police said.
The incident happened in the parking lot of the Wesley Herrington apartments on Herrington Road in Lawrenceville.
Police told Channel 2 Action News that a man was sitting in his sports car when he was shot before the suspects sped off in a silver vehicle. He was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center in serious condition but is expected to survive, police said.
Authorities are sorting through conflicting witness accounts and the investigation is continuing.
