A man was found guilty Tuesday and sentenced to life plus 25 years in prison for his role in a drug-related killing, authorities said.

Xzarious Terrell was found guilty of felony murder, aggravated assault and weapons charges for the April 9, 2009, shooting death of 33-year-old Henry Wright Jr. during an attempted armed robbery, the Fulton County District Attorney's office announced.

Terrell entered an Old Hapeville Road apartment with Rodqucas Bowen, who already has been convicted for his participation in the crime, the D.A.'s office said. Authorities said the men had conspired to rob the residents with a third man, Moxtious Cain, whose trial is still pending.

Terrell shot Wright in the chest in the midst of a struggle during the attempted robbery, the D.A.'s office said. The defendants left the scene on foot, but Bowen carjacked a pregnant woman, authorities said.

An investigation, which included witness accounts and positive photo lineups, led to the men's arrests.
