A man who was shot twice in the abdomen and left for dead on a DeKalb County driveway has been identified, police said Thursday.

Clarence “Alex” Maddox was found lying face down just before 6 a.m. Tuesday in the 3900 block of Flowers Road, police previously told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The 38-year-old was found in a parking lot near the Buford Highway Farmers Market and a DeKalb County Schools facility.
