Man dies in Henry home fire

A Henry County resident died in a home fire early Sunday morning, fire officials said.

Firefighters responding to a blaze in the 2000 block of Old Jackson Road in Locust Grove found a one-story home heavily involved in flame, said Henry County fire Capt. Sabrina Puckett.

Firefighters searching the building found the body of a deceased male, said Puckett.

More details were not released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
