A Cobb County man was killed early Sunday when he was ejected in a single-vehicle crash in Acworth, police said.

Investigators believe Bradford Stanley Bryant was driving a maroon 2002 Honda Civic at a high rate of speed on New McEver Road when he lost control of the car, struck a tree and was ejected, Officer Youlanda D. Leverette with Acworth police said.

The crash happened around 6:15 a.m Sunday between Main Street and Toccoa Drive, Leverette said. Bryant, 41, of Kennesaw, died at the scene, police said.

The Cobb police department is leading the investigation into the fatal crash, Leverette said. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Cobb police at 770-499-3987 or Acworth police at 770-974-3111.
