Police believe Peake has shoplifted from the Home Depot on Jimmy Carter Boulevard 16 times. The thefts amounted to more than $10,000 worth of tools and other supplies, the Gwinnett County Police Department said in a release.

The thefts occurred between November 2018 and March 2019, the department said. Investigators first asked for the public’s help in identifying the theft suspect on May 2, and Peake was identified as the suspect and arrested last week.

Peake, who is also charged with violating probation, is being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
