Atlanta police say they arrested the man who shot and ran over another man in a parking lot in May.

Vincent V. Ellington was arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of 24-year-old Jeremy Fulton, APD spokesman Lukasz Sajdak said.

Fulton was shot in the chest in a parking lot May 6 on Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard. Police said Ellington fired the shots that killed Fulton and then drove away in a “red or burgundy sedan.”

Witnesses told police the shooter ran over Fulton’s legs as he was leaving.
