Cherokee County sheriff's investigators on Tuesday released a composite photograph of a man suspected of sexually assaulting an Acworth woman last week.

The alleged victim in the March 2 incident reported to deputies that after taking her child to the bus stop, she was walking back to her residence in the Shadowood Mobile Home Park off Bells Ferry Road when she was approached by a man driving a white Ford Ranger pickup truck, Cherokee sheriff's Lt. Jay Baker said.

"According to the victim, the male asked if she would be interested in cleaning his home for money," Baker said.

"She then entered the vehicle and he drove her to a nearby subdivision and parked in a driveway," Baker said. The woman told deputies that the man then sexually assaulted her in the truck before driving her back to her neighborhood.

The woman sustained no physical injuries, Baker said.

He asked that anyone recognizing the photo or with knowledge of this or similar incidents call investigators at 770-928-0239.
