Man accused of firing .357 Magnum revolver at woman’s face

A 67-year-old man is accused of choking a woman and firing a .357 Magnum revolver at her face, officials said.
Dwight Aaron Turner of Lula did not hit the woman when he fired the gun, Hall County sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Scott Ware said.
Deputies arrested Turner during the course of a Georgia Family Violence Act investigation, Ware said.
He was booked into the Hall County jail on two counts of aggravated assault, simple assault and false imprisonment.
No bond has been set at this time.
The case remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
