Mall of Georgia’s ice skating rink now open

The weather hasn’t dipped below 80 degrees in months, but that won’t stop the Mall of Georgia from bringing out some ice.

The Mall of Georgia’s new ice skating rink will open Friday, Oct. 5. The mall will kick off the ice skating season with a 90s-themed party in the Village, its outdoor event space that’s playing host to the rink this fall and winter. There will be a DJ, photo booth, games and family activities, in addition to the main draw: ice.

The Rink at the Mall of Georgia will offer $3 skating for kids, while adults cost $5. On Tuesdays, all skaters can enter for $2. The Rink will only accept credit cards.

The Rink will be open every day of the week. From Monday to Saturday, you can skate from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays, you can skate from noon to 6 p.m.
