Magelund named disabilities office ombudsman

Gov. Nathan Deal has named Corinna Magelund as the ombudsman for the Governor's Office of Disability Services.

Magelund, of Atlanta, has been involved with the Chastain Horseback Therapeutic Riding Program and has worked in the Department of Community Affairs. As ombudsman, Magelund will promote the safety and rights of individuals with mental and development disabilities and be an advocate for the behavioral health and developmental disability community.
