Mothers Against Drunk Driving is awarding "Golden Shield Honors" to law officers, prosecutors and their agencies who the advocacy organization believes have made a big dent against drunk drivers. Gov. Nathan Deal is scheduled to speak at the ceremony, which is done in partnership with the Governor's Office on Highway Safety, on March 24 from 11.a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park.
