WellPet Humane, a non-profit veterinary clinic in Chamblee, recently opened a new treatment center for dogs with parvo.

Parvo, or canine parvovirus, is a common but deadly disease, especially in infected puppies. Treatment costs can hinder treatment, leading the clinic to create the center.

WellPetHumane also offers low-cost vaccines, including the series of shots that prevents parvo.
