The Georgia Lottery will hold two Cash 4 drawings on Friday to make up for a technical malfunction during last week's midday drawing, giving players two chances to win, lottery officials said Tuesday.
All tickets purchased for the June 10 Cash 4 midday drawing will be eligible for both the regularly scheduled and the bonus drawing.
The bonus Cash 4 drawing is scheduled to take place immediately following the regularly scheduled drawing at 12:29 p.m. Due to time constraints, the bonus drawing will not be televised. but its video will be posted at the Georgia Lottery website.
During last Friday's live drawing, a door on the back of one of the four lottery ball mixing machines popped open, and a ball fell out. Four other balls rolled into the slot as they were supposed to. The winning numbers for the June 3 Cash 4 midday drawing were 8-5-5-7.
Anyone who had a winning ticket from last Friday's drawing was allowed to cash in the ticket.
