Beginning Oct. 17, the Sugar Hill E Center will be home to an international and interactive art exhibition. Loop is a cross between a music box, a zoetrope (an optical toy invented in the 19th century), and a railway handcar. The retro-futuristic machine creates animated fairy-tale Loops for participants to enjoy. When the public manipulates the hand lever an image cylinder lights up and creates the illusion of drawings in motion.

This will be the first installation of the interactive art experience in the southeast. The exhibition will open with a celebration at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Sugar Hill E Center, 5019 W Broad St. and will be on display through Nov. 4. The interactive, story-telling art will be open daily with open hours posted online at www.cityofsugarhill.com.
