If you're looking for more job opportunities, you may want to consider taking a look at these Georgia towns.

A survey by Niche.com took a look at town economies across the United States and ranked them based on census data.

What does the survey measure? Factors such as unemployment rates, percent change in jobs and business, income inequality and cost of living influence the ranking, according to Niche.

Georgia towns with the best job opportunities

1. Jefferson (Jackson County)

2. Rock Spring Township (Walker County)

3. Campton Township (Walton County)

4. LaGrange (Troup County)

5. Waynesboro (Burke County)

6. Alpharetta (Fulton County)

7. Waresboro Township (Burke County)

8. Fairplay Township (Douglas County)

9. Moultrie (Colquitt County)

10. East Baldwin Township (Baldwin County)

Atlanta is often touted as a hub of job opportunity and growth.

Three North Fulton towns made an appearance on the list: Alpharetta (No. 6), Roswell (No. 16) and Sandy Springs (No. 22).

However, not many other metro Atlanta towns made the cut, dismissing the myth that bigger is better.

Marietta was the only town in Cobb County to rank, falling at No. 42.

No towns from DeKalb County or Gwinnett County were to be found.
