The Loganville water system was recently awarded the designation of Outstanding Performer by the Environmental Protection Division (EPD) of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. The state agency conducted its Sanitary Survey Inspection and noted that the city’s water system was “well operated and maintained.”

The EPD is a state agency tasked with protecting Georgia’s air, land, and water resources by enforcing state and federal environmental statutes. These laws regulate public and private facilities responsible for or having impact on air quality, water quality, hazardous waste, water supply, solid waste, surface mining, underground storage tanks, and others.
