Loganville’s Planning and Zoning Department has reported steady growth between 2014 and 2015.

Officials report the amount collected from permitting fees has grown from $50,000 in fiscal year 2015 to $200,000 in fiscal year 2015.

Growing from 180 total permits in 2013 and 244 in 2014, Loganville issued more than 412 permits in 2015. Among those, 90 were for single-family construction, an increase of more than 75 in 2014 and 24 permits in 2013.

The department also sites growth in the number of building inspections growing from 1,088 in 2014 to 3,264 in 2015. In addition, the number of business licenses grew from 1,109 over the past two years to 1,132 in 2015.

The city also reported the number of code enforcement cases has declined from 349 in 2014 to 153 in 2015.
