Loganville will host an auction for an old double-wide trailer at 9 a.m. July 20 at 133 Camp St. Doors will open for viewing at 8 a.m. The winning bid is responsible for removing the trailer in its entirety within 60 days.
The trailer will be sold as is. Loganville’s mayor and council voted not to make repairs to the HVAC system in the structure which led to declaring the building as surplus. Instead of using taxpayer money to demolish and remove the trailer, city officials felt it made better financial sense to offer the public the opportunity to purchase the structure.
