During the past few weeks of the coronavirus pandemic, Lockheed Martin, based in Marietta, has assisted the Cobb and Metro Atlanta communities in a variety of ways.

Lockheed Martin has provided more than 6,000 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Georgia Emergency Management Agency, Georgia Institute of Technology and the Wellstar Kennestone and Grady Memorial hospitals.

Also, Lockheed Martin has partnered with Compass, the company’s onsite meal provider, to deliver 1,250 meals each week to Hosea Feed the Hungry, MUST Ministries and Veteran’s Empowerment Organization (VEO).

Lockheed Martin has donated around $100,000 to assist with food needs and distance learning to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Cobb Community Foundation and public school systems in Atlanta, Cobb County, Fulton County and Marietta.
