Lithonia wraps up budget process
The city of Lithonia will hold a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget 10 to 11 a.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 7, in the City Hall Chambers, 6920 Main Street.
At this meeting, the mayor and council will receive public comments about the Annual Operating and Capital Budget for the city of Lithonia.
The public hearing on the budget will be followed by the council meeting at 7 p.m. in the council chamber.
The FY16 mayor’s recommended budget will be available for public inspection during normal office hours at: Lithonia City Hall, 6920 Main Street, and Lithonia-Davidson Library, 6821 Church Street. The second review for the budget is 6:30 p.m. Dec. 21.
The mayor and council are scheduled to adopt the FY16 Budget at the same meeting.
