Sisters By Choice, women and families affected by breast cancer, will host a discussion in October about the disease for recently diagnosed patients and others.
Dr. Rogsbert Phillips will focus on education and awareness as well as treatment services available. Members of the Stone Mountain-Lithonia chapter of Delta Sigma Theta will help provide donations and other support during the event.
The program begins at 7 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Fairfield Baptist Church Family Life Center, 6133 Redan Road, near Lithonia.
