Lilburn residents will vote in the Nov. 5 general municipal election on a referendum authorizing the city to permit and regulate Sunday sales of distilled spirits and/or alcoholic beverages by the drink from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Known as the Sunday Brunch Bill, voters will decide whether or not to allow restaurants to offer alcoholic beverages by the drink earlier on Sunday. Currently establishments within Lilburn city limits may begin selling beer, wine and distilled spirits at 12:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.

The voting polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 at 340 Main St. for this referendum.
