The Lilburn City Council joined other cities in Georgia, including nearby Duluth, to approve a professional agreement with RedSpeed USA for the installation of school zone speed cameras. Cameras will be installed at Arcado Elementary School on Arcado Road and Trickum Middle School on Killian Hill Road.

Installation and operation of the cameras occurs at no charge to the city. Drivers found to be speeding in a school zone will receive citations with about 65% of the revenue remaining with the city. Photo-enforced tickets are paid online at www.redspeedusa.com.
