The Lilburn City Council recently approved an intergovernmental agreement between Gwinnett County Water and Sewerage Authority and the city to provide utility improvements to Lilburn Industrial Way.

The improvements will include pavement rehabilitation/resurfacing, the upgrade of a 60-inch stormwater culvert, a water line upgrade/replacement, addition of sanitary sewer as well as sidewalks and curb repair.

The city will finance its portion of the project using 2017 SPLOST transportation funds. The city is responsible for 25 percent of the total cost. Lilburn will manage the project and will receive reimbursement as outlined in the agreement.
