Lilburn designates safe spot for internet sales transactions

The Lilburn Police Department is now an official meetup spot for internet purchase exchange.

Chief Bruce Hedley has designated parking at 76 Main Street for people who wish to conduct person-to-person sales/purchases made over the many social media sales sites. The parking spot is monitored by the police department’s surveillance camera system. OfferUp donated the sign to encourage app users to buy and sell at safe trading zones.
