The Lilburn City Council on Monday denied an application for a special use permit for outdoor storage associated with a contractor’s office at 436 Dogwood Drive. The contractor, Eagle Construction and Restoration LLC, intends to use the site to store vehicles, scaffolding, and construction materials on two lots located along an access easement off Dogwood Drive. Owner, Francisco Martinez, intends to eventually develop the site for his use as a contractor’s office in accordance with the Lilburn’s Development Regulations and U.S. 29 Overlay District for commercial property.

After review and recommendations from the Planning Commission, the Lilburn City Council felt the site plan did not meet requirements for fencing, access, parking, lighting, landscaping, architectural standards or signage.
