The Lilburn City Council recently voted unanimously to approve the 2019-2023 Comprehensive Plan. City staff worked with the Atlanta Regional Commission and the Lilburn Steering Committee to compile the document with public comments received through Oct. 31.

The plan will help guide city officials when making decisions about transportation, housing, broadband access, and future development.

Municipalities are required to update their comprehensive plan every five years. The document satisfies the requirements to maintain the city’s Qualified Local Government status as determined by the Department of Community Affairs.
