The Lilburn City Council unanimously approved a grant application Monday evening for $87,000 in state funding to repair Lilburn Industrial Way. The one-mile long roadway between Arcado and Killian Hill roads is rated as having the worst road conditions in city limits.

The 2016 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant will pay for milling, deep patching and reconstruction of the base to be completed by October. Paving will be completed in 2016.
