Following a public hearing, the Lilburn city council agreed Monday to changes to a Special Use Permit for Providence Christian Academy’s athletic fields at 4495 Wynne-Russell Drive. The changes include the addition of an outdoor sound system, on-site lighting control, and extended hours of operation.

The approval comes with conditions that require noise ordinance limits to the volume of the public address system. The hours of operation will be limited to 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
