Following a recent public hearing, the Lilburn City Council approved a new Telecommunications Tower and Tall Structure Permit for 306 Luxomni Road. The request for the 175-foot wireless tower, filed by TowerCom, meets all of the required criteria to obtain the permit. The applicant also provided supplemental evidence that there are no other existing structures nearby that could meet T-Mobile’s wireless infrastructure coverage needs. The monopole facility is more than 1,500 feet from other towers and more than 400 feet from the nearest residential property.

A 12-foot gravel drive will provide access from the easement off Luxomni Road in front of Home Depot. No artificial lighting or signage is proposed.

There was no objection from the public.
