Lilburn adjusts budget for employee insurance increase

After actuary reviews of premium levels of the Georgia Municipal Employees Benefit System life and health insurance fund, Lilburn received notice of a premium increase effective Jan. 1.

As a result, the Lilburn City Council unanimously approved a general fund budget adjustment Monday of $49,350 to offset the increase in employee medical premiums through June 30.
