Ga. 54 lights being adjusted

Traffic engineers are working to improve the signal light timing on the congested westbound portion of Ga. Hwy. 54 in Peachtree City. The city said several sensors were also found to be damaged.

The new traffic light at Line Creek Drive and the “Green T” turn lane are now operational, just as the new Aldi grocery store and Chick-fil-A restaurant have opened this week on opposite sides of the road. Traffic flow along the busy corridor will be further affected as completion of The Overlook shopping center continues.
