MARTA is holding four public meetings to discuss its $2.7 billion Atlanta expansion plan.

The transit agency's 40-year "More MARTA" plan involves additions such as 29 miles of light rail and 13 miles of bus rapid transit lines.  It was approved last month after much debate.

The "community conversations" will include a review of the program's status and efforts to begin project planning. Find more information about the meetings here.

Here’s when and where the MARTA meetings will take place:

• 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 27 at the John C. Birdine Neighborhood Center

• 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 29 at the St. Mark AME Church

• 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the Northwest Library at Scott’s Crossing

• 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Dec. 15 at the Morningside Presbyterian Church
