Lawrenceville woman’s body found in Lake Lanier

The body of a Lawrenceville woman has been recovered from Lake Lanier.

Charlotte Ann Church, 50, was found by a passerby who called authorities at about 6 p.m. Thursday, Forsyth County sheriff’s Deputy Epifanio Rodriguez said Friday in a news release.

Church was found at Sawnee Campground and pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

No signs of foul play or trauma were discovered, Rodriguez said.

The cause of death is pending a GBI autopsy.
