Lawrenceville will hold a municipal election Nov. 7 to elect Council Post 3, currently held by Robert Clark, and Council Post 4, held by Keith Roche. Anyone interested in running for one of these council posts will have the opportunity to qualify 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 21 through Aug. 23 in the office of the City Clerk, on the fourth floor of Lawrenceville City Hall, 70 S. Clayton St.
Those residing within the city limits of Lawrenceville seeking to qualify as candidates in the election must file a Notice of Candidacy and pay a qualifying fee equal to 3 percent of the annual salary of the office sought, in this case $216 for a council post. All qualifying fees must be paid at the time of qualifying.
