Together with elected officials and board members, and led by a steering committee of key stakeholders, Lawrenceville revealed the city’s first-ever Economic Development strategic plan Tuesday.

The fundamental purpose of the strategic plan is to set the standards and a pace necessary for Lawrenceville’s continued growth, advancement and development. The plan outlines six economic development goals that inherently reflect the community’s specific needs, supported by statistical trends, community input and market data.

“Preparing this plan was truly a collaborative effort,” said Lisa Sherman, Director of Community and Economic Development at the City of Lawrenceville. “Next steps include forming an advisory board, organizing the tasks recommended within the plan and creating the accountability necessary to ensure the execution and progress of the plan happen.”
