Lawrenceville officials recently agreed to rescind a contract for the 1291 Creek Wood Cove Storm Drain Replacement Project with Kennedy & Tillman, LLC.

The $206,910 contract would have included demolition and removal of the existing CMP storm drain system and installation of a new drain system using RCP and HDPE pipe that will tie-in to existing structures. When eventually completed, the project will also include the installation of a curb and gutter.

This project was awarded by the Lawrenceville City Council at the Sept. 4, 2019 meeting. The two principals of the company have since retired and closed their business. The city’s engineering department is revising the specifications and will be re-bidding the project.
